Hi guys! Transmission oil cooler lines are falling apart on my 96 limited edition wagon with the towing package. I've been looking online for the lines and the one that looks like the right part is ACDELCO Part # 10269708 PIPE,TRANS FLUID CLR LWR TRANS OUTLET; but it says w/o HVY DUTY TRANS CLG SYS(KNP). Is KD1 that my buick has equivalent to KNP? Or KD1 and KNP are two different things? If this pipe (# 10269708) is not the right one although it looks like the one installed on my buick, what is the part number of the correct pipe? Does anyone know?
Here is the blueprint of the tranny oil cooling system:

If anyone did this job, please share your experience. I am frankly a bit intimidated doing this job without a lift. I am sure the line connections are stuck, plus it is probably necessary to remove the catalytic converter in order to get access to the bolts on the tranny.

Thanks a lot, as always for your infinite wisdom.

That does look like the correct line for #3 in the diagram, which is the pressure feed line.

If you are replacing the line, just cut it after the fittings and put a 6pt socket on. You might get them loose with a quality tubing wrench. My craftsmans barely get the job done there.

I forget if the cats have to come out. The ones I've swapped trannys on, didn't have cats.

Thanks very much Cory. The tubing wrench is not doing the job. The fitting that goes into the radiator is totally stuck. Oh, well, I'll continue my adventure.
Best,
SK
