If anyone experiences an annoying click-clack noise under the passenger side dash, In my case, on all (3) of my 2003-2005 (should apply to 2000-2205), the noise was the air inlet motor (see diagram). In my case it did not require replacing the motor but to simply re-arc the motor position feedback wiper springs (see photo). When these loose tension, the motor will over-travel, causing the annoying click-Clack noise when set to vent (fresh air).

Thank you for that tip. I will attempt that on my Lesabre. One of the three gate motor assemblies is doing that. Maybe with a stethoscope I can figure out which one. My clicking noise doesn't seem to be associated with any particular mode, BTW.

Just by listening, I was able to determine which side it was on. If it is the driver's side, remove the two bottom panels and it helped me to slide the seats all the way back, steering wheel up and lay down on your back, coming in from the passenger side dropping your shoulders & head into the driver's side floor. Also the (3) motor bolts are 5.5mm (not all socket sets include half size sockets). I haven't had any issues with the (2) passenger side motors but they appear to be easier to access through the glove box.
