Has anyone here installed this GS Instrument Cluster in your non-GS Regal? Looks pretty interesting if it is a Plug and Play installation...

It was a plug-and-play install (the 'how-to' on removing/installing clusters is on this forum somewhere). Great improvement over the mid-level cluster that came installed.

I'ts pretty easy to change but it's pricey. Probably the best mod I've done to the car, along with the GS steering wheel swap.

Did you send in your own cluster or buy a cluster from them?

You can pick your car model and options in the link the OP posted to get the price.

Thanks Kimosaab93!
Since I am too lazy to research cluster hard and software pricing, maybe you could give me the price you paid for your top trim TourX?

That would take me searching for the old receipt / email which I'm too lazy to do. Hopefully someone else can help you out.

I guess I can relate to that, would need to research what I paid delivery dealer in 09 for GM tune and mudflaps on coupe.
But thinking it was about $700.

$725 if they supply everything, $275 if you supply the Cluster. They charge $450 for the cluster, but I see them listed new for under $200... I assume it needs to be a New GS Cluster?

Thanks Scotty...could you beam me up please?

But to answer your question, look at posts #88 and #125.

While used clusters are cheaper, there is added cost associated with matching/reprogramming the VIN from the donor vehicle cluster to the new vehicle. There is less work for WAMS, and less labor costs for the customer, if a brand new unit is purchased.

New cluster: higher unit cost, lower labor cost.
Used cluster: lower unit cost, higher labor cost.

Apparently it winds up being a wash, so you might as well get the brand new unit with a warranty. And there's no risk of purchasing an incompatible cluster cause WAMS has all that covered.
