Started suddenly a couple days ago - no sound at all from the speakers (no music/turn signals/back up noise/etc.) Wanted to check the fuse for the amplifier as a first step, but manual says it should be in the rear compartment "if equipped" and the fuse box shown in the diagram is not in my trunk. So I guess that means I am not equipped with that fuse box, but then where are those fuses? Specifically the amplifier fuse?

Why do you think your audio system has a separate amplifier?

I'm not positive that it does - but I've read that it could as in this diagram:

If I don't have one, then what can I check to get at this issue?
That's for the Bose system only.
The radio, the wire harness, or if the radio display is dark, the fuse.

UPDATE

had to rip the trunk apart to find the amp fuse, but it was there (without the access door that should have been there)...pulled amp fuse and it seemed fine....found the amp on the other side of the trunk - no obviously loose connections or anything.

so I guess it most likely is the amp at this point? don't really want to risk buying a new one if it could be something else? anyone else gone thru all this?

Did you have any luck? I have the same issue.
