I have a 2011 Lucerne that keeps showing a message for low washer fluid. Filled reservoir and it did not solve message so I purchased a new sensor and installed it. Refilled reservoir and am still getting the message. Any thoughts on what to look for next or how to shut off the message. Thanks in advance.

Other than a possible short in the harness or connector haven't seen the issue come up before. Not knowing the electrical wiring on it couldn't comment if the wires could be just connected to fool it being full all the time.

Curious situation. Have owned the car for 3.5 years. This issue started about 3 months ago after I filled the reservoir. Since that day it always has a message of the reservoir needing fluid. No big deal just a pain to have to turn off message every time starting the car. (petty, I know)

I can't say on why it would still be warning after the new sensor was installed, not sure if it could be installed upside-down, if it could be detective, the pump needs to be unplug to kill the circuit for a reset or even if a scan would clear it.

But yes daily resets will get old fast lol.

Been happening on my 2011 lucerne also.
Will tap reservoir to see if float is stuck.
Then try the battery disconnected for 10 min.
Hope one of these works!
