ok i got a 1997 skylark custom...

had some issues with it just recently..

rad. cracked so i replaced it (month GO)...
yesterday it started to over heat on the way home...
pulled over put some water in it, and tried to crank it up...
nothing, just cranking, never started...
looked under hood, water pouring out from water pump, and also noticed a leak on the driver's side of the motor coming from the gasket by the heads...

question is, is this a big job i should not do alone?

i have a little mech. experience, but this would be my first major repair in my book...

If you get yourself a manual so you can follow ther specs you should be fine as it is not a very bad job. The lower intake gaskets are made of plastic on the v6's and are prone for going bad. The new revised limg are made of metal so they last much longer.

i have 93 3.3 liter skylark keep puting antifreeze and water leaks slow have to put some in once a week tranny fluid once a month slow leak too
