I have a 2008 Buick Lucerne CXL 3.8 l V6.

I replaced the battery and randomly most of the lights on the climate control panel and all the lights on my steering wheel with the exception of the orange cruise control light stopped working after that All fuses are good that I checked. The really weird thing is that when I go to turn on my reading light it turns off all of the climate control panel lights and that light does not turn on but they do come on when I open the doors or locker unlock the car as they're supposed to any ideas

As it seems you have a major electrical problem considering your other post.
To many items and unfortunately it's a little hard over a forum to troubleshoot electrical issues and as it could be harnesses, fuse box or BCM module which is guessing.

There's a Chilton manual online, see link below, on the forum go to post #40 for information on how to get to it as it will show additional details and has wiring schematics.

I just had the body control module replaced at the dealer so I don't think it's that I have access to a shops online technical catalog I just didn't know if anybody had experienced anything like this before if it's a ground fault somewhere all fuses and relays check out

I guess there was a reason the BCM was replaced? Did the problems start before or after the BCM was replaced? Was the vehicle ever in a flood? Has the battery ground wire at the frame connection been checked? Have both fuse & relay boxes been fully inspected? Seriously not knowing any history on the vehicle it's still best guessing, hopefully someone else on the forum may offer additional suggestions.

I have inspected the fuses and relay boxes The vehicle has never been in a flood I had to BCM replaced because I was starting to have act ups and other electrical systems such as wipers not working although the multifunction switch tested properly and I was having random stability track not working issues although the entire system checked out.

Considering that the BCM should be good then the next thing would probably be chasing the harnesses using the schematics and a meter or look at a professional shop that has experience in troubleshooting electrical system, hopefully you will find the problem.
