What did you do to your Regal today?

Had to replace a freakin' tire today thanks to a big bolt about 1/4" from the sidewall. At least my tires are relatively new and it was only down 2/32 so I was able to get away with buying one, just had to swap it to the rear.

I replaced all 4 of my tires back in June and they weren't cheap.
Guess I shouldn't complain, they could have cost more!

It's been so dry here that we have heavy dust (probably from the dry grass and
dry leaves falling off the trees).
I can wash my car every day and it won't look like I've washed it for a week about
5 minutes after washing it!

I have washed my car twice this week and it currently looks like it hasn't been washed in
at least a week.
Guess that's what I get for having a dark color paint?

My neighbor washed his truck and then moved it to a different spot out along the street.
Less than a week later his truck looks like it's been sitting in the same spot for
a month.
Around here, if your vehicle isn't moved occasionally, they will tag it as an abandon
vehicle and will tow it!

My car will sit in the same spot sometimes for a week (without me moving it).
I always keep an eye out for a tag on the Drivers Window when it's been sitting that long.

Even parked in the garage I have the same problem with dust, live out here in the country and with all the farming and orchards dust is a constant.

It's been really bad around here for the last 8-10 years, but every year it
seems to get a little bit worse.
This year has been horribly dry, and I even live in one of the areas that normally
gets a little more rain!

My wife commented today how many weeds there were in our yard.
Well, I can't really put anything on the yard to kill the weeds because of
it being so dry.
And my wife would kill me because of the water bill if I watered our grass!
The weeds really take over when the grass isn't growing.

We've got about 6 new car washes within 4 miles of us.
There is one chain that has 4 of the 6 car washes.
I think they realize how bad the dust is and are trying to entice people to wash
their cars more.
They have a deal that starts at $29.99 a month for Basic Washes (unlimited washes).
Sometimes a basic wash is all you need (just to get the dust off).
But I normally wash my Regal and My wife's GMC Terrain in our driveway at home,
it's much cheaper.
I do however take them to a car wash in the winter to get the underbody wash,
gotta remove all that salt they use on our roads!
