What is this Button For ENG/MET

What is this Button For ENG/MET . its to the left side and its elongated in shape with this writing on the bottom and at the top it says TRIP OD so I figure that's just to set the trip indicator to zero again but the bottom puzzles me and there is no written indications in between the trip on top and the ENG?MET on the bottom of the long button anyone know what this performs or does?😕

That button switches the odometer from miles to kilometers. The middle buttons are blank unless you have the Driver Information Center option.

​Gee I thought it was maybe to reset the oil change light if I have one ? and yes the middle is blank and so that leaves me with the top button is for the trip indicator reset? Thanks so much.😎 just got the beautiful car and love it with only 42K on the OD its like new to me

Yes, it switches between odometer A and B, and if you hold it in it resets.
