Wheel inserts

Hey folks!

Does anyone know how to remove the plastic wheel inserts? I have the 2021 Buick Encore GX Essence.

haven’t been able to find any inserts other than the official GM parts.
But I removed the silver chrome inserts from my Essence trim and covered them with high gloss black vinyl. It turned out nice! I’ll post pics.

How did the wheels look without any plastic inserts? Are the Wheels designed to always have some kind of insert?

When the plastic inserts are removed, it looks strange. There’s a screw hole left behind. So I wouldn’t recommend it!
