I have wheel locks on my car. Buick dealers are telling me that there are no caps that fit on the locks to match the other lug nuts. I even tried to put the original caps/lug nut onto the lock without any success.

The wheel locks look incomplete as they show and look like a straight bolt without the nut on it.

Anyone have the same problem or what do you use for wheel locks?

Did a lot of research on this. Apparently there are no GM approved Wheel Locks for this car: 2010 Buick LaCrosse XCS. If anyone knows what fits this model, please let me know. Dealerships are saying that once they get GM approved wheel locks they will swap out the ones that they used on my car. I have even called the MFGR. McGard and they say to use GM PN 17802466. Dealership says those are too long and can be removed with any wrench.

Still looking for caps for the locks installed by dealer. I have found wheel locks at various auto suppliers, but not caps that would fit. I need 14 x 1.5. Happy Holidays to all!!!

This is my first "American" car (2010 LaCrosse CXS), and I can't beleive that Buick did not make lock nuts readily available for the nice wheels that come with the car! I have the Touring package with the 19" wheels and I have gone to 3 dealers in my area to get wheel locks , but they only pull up a package that requires you to purchase all new lug nuts, locks, and key for $195!

I went to Autozone and bought a set of wheel locks that fit my CSX 19" wheels for $10.00. The original wheel locks that Buick put on the car when I bought it were not the right ones and they looked incomplete. So, I am using the $10.00 ones until I get a call from the Buick dealer that GM Buick has the correct locks for this car. I was only charged $50.00 for the wheel locks by the dealer. If I don't get the proper locks fromt he dealer I will give him his back and get my $50.00 back. 😡

I also purchased a set of Lug Caps and tried them on with the original Buick Wheel Locks. NO LUCK. The Lug Caps will not screw onto the lug (Screw). I will continue to try to find a set of Lug Caps that I can use with the Original Buick Wheel Locks. Happy New Year!

Asctony, Thanks for the info! The part # that dealers in my area give is 19212923. I looked at the ones at Auto Zone today and will probably use them for now. Can you post a pic of what you have? I just can't see paying $195 for new lug nuts and locks! Keep us posted...............

The ones that I bought and using until Buick gets the right ones:
Dorman 711-621 M14 - 1.50 Chrome Wheel Locks 4 Locks 1 Key $9.99 + tax.
I did a search to find a pic but could not find one that showed the top of the lock. However, go here to see what I found.
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/we...UE3-_-VALUE4&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=9100302-P
or do a Google search for: Dorman 711-621.
Hope this helps.

I was on the Gorilla website and they say that the size for a LaCrosse 05-Pres is 12x1.50. I currently have a Gorilla 14x1.5 wheel lock based on your earlier posts. Where did you get the size? Found some good sites that may interest you for other accessories- gmpartsdirect.com (cheaper), gm-auto-parts.com. I also saw on the Gorilla website something that made me think about the 19212923 part# that my dealer comes up with that only offers all 20 lugs, 4 locks, and key/wrench. Gorilla has a complete set of lugs and locks, of which the lugs are locks as well. Not sure about the price.

I got the size from the package that was with the car when I bought it, dealer supplied. So, I bought that size and it works on my 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXS 19' wheels.

I have seen the 20 lug set, but I did not buy that. I bought the 4 lug set. Hope this helps.

After one of the caps fell off I had went to the Buick dealer and he ordered the lug nut lock with cap to fit my LaCrosse. He used the serial number on the car to order the correct one. Now I just have to figure out how to remove the cap so I can put it on the wheel.

I'm using the Gorilla 71641N locks, one per wheel. While they're not a perfect match, they're so close that even though I know they're there, I have to look hard to find them. They are 14mm x 1.50 and about $18 on Amazon. This is on the 19" 9 spoke wheels.
