Learning curve here. So the radiator fill and overflow is in a hose? Looks like a phenolic/plastic device and probably has a hairline crack as hose clamp(s) have been changed and corrosion residue is visible there. But of coarse do the testing as afore advice states.
If that was mine I'd install new hoses, match new clamps and fitting. Appears it's been there many years now. Car may not be worth bothering with though💵
Spot on. It was the doo dad the radiator cap screws onto. Only dealer carried it and made a mistake on pricing. Charged me 28.00 after quoting 48.00. Thanks for comments
