I thought I would post up some pictures since getting the wheels and tint put on.

The wheels are BMW, they use the same bolt pattern, but be careful they have offsets all over the place on there car models. Plus BMW chrome wheels are lighter then comparable aftermarket chrome wheels.

The last 2 pics are of the Aeroforce Interceptor gauge I am using.

I have a turbo car, so no I don't know if this gauge will work with a non-turbo model.

My digital dispaly is actually white, I tried my hardest with/without flash to capture it and the picture still turned out looking like a green display.

The gauge plugs straight into the OBD2 port, no additional wires needed and monitors EVERY parameter of the engine that the ECU does.

  • RPM
  • MPH
  • Intake Air Temperature (post Intercooler)
  • Ambient Air Temperature (pre Intercooler)
  • Engine Coolant Temperature
  • Exhaust Gas Temperature (PCM Calculated)
  • Transmission Temp. (auto trans)
  • Manifold Pressure (vacuum/boost) displayed in PSI
  • Fuel Temperature
  • Battery Voltage
  • Battery Temp
  • Injector Pulse Width in msec.
  • Injector Duty Cycle (%)
  • Air Flow Rate into engine
  • Long Term Fuel Trim
  • Short Term Fuel Trim
  • O2 Sensor Voltage
  • Barometric Pressure
  • Ignition Advance
  • Base Spark
  • PCM Spark Adjust
  • Fuel Status (open/closed loop)
  • Wastegate Solenoid Duty Cycle (%)
  • Knock Retard
  • Knock Sensor Raw Voltage
  • Throttle Position Percentage
  • Throttle Position Sensor Raw Volts
  • Calculated Net Horsepower
  • Engine Load
  • Transmission Slip
  • Current Transmission Gear
  • Torque Delivered to Transmission
  • Torque Converter lockup status
  • Brake pressure
  • Brake Booster Travel
  • Steering Angle
  • Non-driven Wheel Speed
  • Lateral G's
  • Yaw
  • Fuel economy (instantaneous and average)
  • P-ratio - pressure ratio MAP/Barometer
  • 2 user configurable analog inputs**
** 0-5v inputs can be configured to read the outputs from MAP sensors, Air/Fuel ratio kits, pressure or temperature sensors, etc. Raw voltage can be displayed or a conversion can be entered to read proper units.

Users will find that ability to log RPM vs other parameters at high speed such as ignition advance, boost, or knock retard invaluable with regards to tuning.

We even have a few not on the list up there.

You can cycle between two different parameters to be displayed at once.

I've got mine set to vacuum/boost and IAT2 in the picture.

Currently boosting 22.5 psi and the turbo is flowing 30 lbs/min 😀 according to the gauge with the Trifecta tune.

I like it!!

How much was the gauge?

I caught it on sale for $198 plus shipping, think I paid $208/shipped.

Normally cost $240

Did I mention you can check/reset codes right on the gauge also, :headbang:

What is up with the rims? Any of the available stock wheels are much better than those. Are you gaining performance with these wheels or something?

Rims are hideous. Gauge is stupid - do you think you drive a Honda Civic?

Everyone is entitled to opinions but,

The rims look better then the hideous painted silver ones that matched nothing on the car from the factory. Whoever came up with the bright idea of sticking silver painted rims on a chrome trimmed out car was off there rocker.

All the available factory chrome rims are big and heavy as hell.

Owning a gauge that actually measures all vital engine parameters is now a Honda thing? sorry but :STFU:

The gauge is to monitor all parameters on the motor, everything.

If you can't see the importance of being able to monitor the parameters on your car, especially a turbocharged version, I would never want to buy a car second hand from you.

It also is a good idea when your running a car that has engine modifications over stock to keep an extra eye on those parameters. 😉

Not all of us sit around like grandpa's with a stock powered car.

Those rims may not fit your personal taste but you are just being an a$$hole calling them hideous. And you're either stupid or just plain ignorant if you don't know why having that gauge is a very good idea on a modified car.

All of the stock wheels are boring. Everyone's taste is different but if you really believe that the stockers are nicer than those you really need to get advice before you make any style decisions. Oh and as far as gaining performance, he is if they are lighter than the stock wheels.

Thanks for the price. If I decide to do any engine mods I will get it. I'm kinda surprised the turbo cars don't have a boost gauge from the factory.

No problem, and you won't find an Aerocepter Interceptor gauge listed for the 2011 Regal turbo.

Why, because I'm the first one to even try out an Intereceptor gauge on a Regal turbo to see if it would work, paying out of my own pocket to try it.

I figured I would pass it on to some fellow Regal Turbo owners. (didn't expect to be met with hostility)

Erebus, if you need a part # of the gauge model/car that will work with your 2011 Regal turbo, drop me a pm.

Next up I'm planning on installing a EFR hybrid turbo (new IC) beginning of next year (if released by then). Its a true bolt on 500whp turbo (dyno results on the LNF platform), although I will only be shooting for 400-450whp.

Can't wait to see the hate from people after doing that also.

My phone must be crap because I don't see any pictures. Is there a link I'm missing.

CXLT... You should put the pics back up! Just because a few ppl don't like the rims, so what. I think you will find more ppl interested in the long run than not!
This message board is so slow some ppl are just trying to start a fire here.
Keep us posted on all things you find, good or bad... Might want to dumb it down for some of these guys. 🙂

T07 w/19" Stock rims! 😉

I really like the idea of the gauge. Having one gauge that you can check all of your parameters is a great idea. I especially like the ability to keep an eye on the boost, nice find.:headbang:

I like it when people try something different with a car that has been soooo conservative for too long. A+ to you. Love the idea of having the gauge, but would like to put it somewhere else less out in the open. Is it a standard 2 1/6 gauge size? i will send you a pm. Might have to custom make a gauge pod.

Can't wait to see/hear the turbo set up once its done. Please don't get discouraged by "opinions"....they arent going anywhere.

dam, some harsh comments here. no need for that.

CXLTsouth, nice rims and great job finding that gauge!! this is what this site needs, people experimenting and finding aftermarket goodies for our car.

You will have to do something custom, I looked everywhere to put the gauge and outside of something really custom or a pillar gauge, there is no where to put the thing.

I'm currently looking for a gauge pod that fits all the way around the pillar. Also want to paint it to match the color of the pillar. Give me a few weeks...I will find something.

You are correct about it not fitting anywhere else in the car without major modifications...the pillar will have to do.

What percentage is the tint on your car CXLTsouth? It looks perfect!

Believe it or not that is 35% all the way around including the strip.

The factory solar ray tinting helps darken it up the way it looks.

If I had a the cashmere interior I would probably go a tad darker, but since i have the ebony interior it helps out.
