As it is getting cooler in these parts, I am finding the need to use the rear window defroster to remove the morning dew. I am noticing that it does not seem very strong at all and does not dry the window the way my other vehicles have. Anyone else experiencing this?

A good portion of the lines back there is the antenna. I have not used the rear defroster yet but when I was having my tinting done, the installer pointed out the antenna lines and warned me against using Metalized film as it may cause reception problems. I wound up getting the cheaper standard film instead.

Is the the upper area of the rear window? That's where the antenna is.

Goobee, thanks for the insight on the antenna area. I have not noticed it as affecting just one area - but will pay more attention on next instance with morning dew to get a better idea. Only a few days have required use of the defroster thus far.
