2013 Buick Encore Teaser Images

What do you think so far?

From the two photos I've seen of the Encore, I think that it's a superb vehicle.

However, I hope that it will sell well like the Enclave has been doing. If it doesn't then it'll be another GM failure.

I hope to see this in person when my local auto show happens in late January to early February 2012.

Here's another!

It's beginning to look a bit chunky and stubby. It could just be the coloring, angle, and lines through the photo, but the front looks taller and thicker than it is long. So I question the proportions.

I'll have to see it in person, too, but the front does look a bit busy and fussy in places. The rest of the Buick line's designs are more flowing and elegant.

I do like the roofline, though, and the wraparound backlight. So we'll see how it all comes together at NAIAS. I hope the design works together as a whole, because we're getting sort of a 'sum of its parts' style reveal here.

@Sal: Thanks for sharing this with us. It's great to see more photos of the car before the unveiling tomorrow.

@autoplaybook: I think that this SUV looks like a Mercedes M in the front and a Nissan Murano in the back. Then again, many car companies are trying to copy their competitors and for the most part it seems to work.

We'll have to wait and see if this sells as well as the Enclave has been doing. If it does, then great. If it doesn't then it'll be on the list of GM's failures.

That's what's worrying me the most.
