02 regal idle in D and R

my 02 regal over heated the other day do to the two plastic 90 elbows on water pump leaking. when she over heated the acceleration died and power steering locked up. so I got it to cool down added fluid and she started but now has a shake and noise coming from motor. took it to autozone said multi. misfires code 300. so I did plugs wires and all coil packs. still the same. any ideas guys? and I fixed them plastic 90 elbows aswell. with hood up when you put it into D or R the misfire gets worse and there is a grinding like sound for a second or so aswell. Im lost on this one. could I have messed up the water pump even though it spins freely with serpentine belt off?

Possible things to test is the ICM(Ignition Control Module) or the crank position sensor. Either can get damaged by extreme heat, particularly if you overheat to the point of automatic shutdown.
