Halo! First off, I LOVE my car. We purchased used, less than a year ago. In December it became undriveable. It will not accelerate in reverse, or shift above 2500 rpms. We just now had it towed in to the transmission shop and were told the 3-5-reverse wave plate needs replaced and is going to cost $3700. Our warranty expired Oct 1st. I have read multiple forum posts that this is a common issue for the 2008-early 2009 Enclave. Has there been a recall? Seems like if it is a common problem ("notorious" was the word the first mechanic used), it should be.
