2004 Lesabre Vibration ecceleration

Hello
I'm a newbe here, I've got a 2004 lesabre bought it about one yr. ago it has 85k mi. and now it idles rough and when I'm driving with my foot on the gas I get a vibration that I can feel in the pedal and steering wheel,also I can hear it in the dash board.

My mechanic said it is not skipping.

Does any one have possible solution to this?

Hi Jim & welcome to the forums! What you described sounds like a motor, or transmission mount problem. I would have the mechanic check and verify that those are either ok, or need replacing.

I had a real bad vibration in my 2000 under acceleration / load. The engine mounts were shot and a inner Cv joint was gone. When it shakes is it a side to side shake?

I don't know about the shaking part but I'll check into the mounts. I think I'm going to have the tranny flushed too, It's about time for that, Thanks much. Happy driving.

had the tranny mount replaced, rides smooth now
