So I'm going to replace the hid light tomorrow and it looks like I'll have enough room to do it without dropping the bumper and pulling the headlight assembly. But to be safe I wanted to make sure I disconnected the battery.

Has anyone had problems after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery? I know sometimes it'll reset the cars computer and crap but I wanted to make sure it won't do anything really messed up like mess up the anti-theft so when I reconnect it it won't start thinking I'm trying to steal it or some other crap like that.

It shouldn't set off the anti-theft when you go to reconnect it. Just disconnect the negative terminal, no need to pull the whole thing out (its kind of a pain) unless you think you need the room.

No issues at all. I did it a few times and all I had to do was reset my time and date on the infotainment center and put the drivers and passenger side windows up and down.

All other stereo/car settings remained.

Did it twice today and exact same, had to do windows and reset time, thanks!
