I have a 2013 Buick LaCrosse; Last Friday my battery died. Jumped it, everything went well. Couple days later I went to start it and it BARELY started. Yesterday it died again twice. I had to have it jumped again today... thinking welp, you need a battery at this point. I drove to a shop they tested my battery, alternator, and starter. Everything is at 100%, they started it twice just fine. Got to work, went to leave work, needed a jump AGAIN. This time I had to calibrate my drivers side front window (roll it down then up) and my radio works fine but my display isn't turning on, my exterior blinkers are working but not the interior lights for the blinkers. And when I got to work today I shut my car off and opened my door, the radio stayed on... guess what? I needed a jump again today. What in the heck is going on with my car???

Also, I have a display that says service "keyless start system" this came on a couple weeks ago when I needed to put my spare tire on. I read in another forum that something could be blocking the antenna in the trunk. I rearranged my spare tire compartment and the sensor still shows.

Are you still on the original battery? If so, I'd just break down and replace it. It can't have much life left anyway.

I have a 2013 and I had to replace the original battery last year. When it went bad, all kinds of weird electrical stuff started happening.

I agree. Weird stuff like that showed on mine (2014) until I replaced the battery.

this sounds like a bad battery to me - if it were the alternator then jumping it and then driving it would have not made for a very long drive - just get a new battery, the one on my 2010 didn't last too long either

I bought my 2011 used in April of this year. Noticed it was not instant-start when turning the key. I got a new battery. Same thing after the new battery. Must be the nature of D.I. engines. Oh well, I have a good battery that should last the length of the car note.

the only cars of mine that start at a touch are eight cylinder ones (just speaking from my personal experience) - my 2010 doesn't start immediately either

I had a similar problem on my 2014 Verano with push button start turned out the dealer replaced some ignition module under warranty and all is well.

You didn't state how the old battery was tested. Nor did you state if you had any Diagnostic Trouble Codes showing up to a code scanner.

When the car fails to start, exactly what happens? For example, "click and no crank," or "no click no nothing," or "slow crank and never start." When this is happening, what does a voltmeter show about the battery status?
