Opel Part Numbers for your Sport Tourer

Hope you do not mind me asking, but how much does it cost to make a Buick appear to be an Opel?
Betting GM didn't spend much changing Opels into Buicks, when they owned them..with no take off parts.... but maybe could sell to guy changing his Opel to a Buick in Europe.

It’s kind of funny to me that folks in Australia rebadge their Holden VE/VF Commodores as Chevrolets (just as I rebadged my Chev SS to Holden). Wonder if they’re doing the same with the ZB Commodore?

What grill part number does that attach to? Is there an exploded view like I can find at GM Parts Direct for US sold GM vehicles? The notches on the back of that backing plate do not line up with the slots in the center of the Blitz logo in the picture that I posted.

Also, your previous post mentioned Vauxhall Forums . . . I checked out half a dozen Vauxhall forums after doing a Google search and found no discussion about Opel grills being used on Holdens and Vauxhalls of this latest Insignia B model. Not saying that they are not, but other than your post I have seen no other evidence.

Could you do a guy a favor and post a link to such a good Vauxhall Forum? I would love to participate in such a forum.

Probably will not be long before manufactures can sell not sure option, so if owner or car felt like an Opel or Holden or Buick you could flip a switch and be whatever you or car want to be that day. Probaly could make led badging that could be anything. Kinda like our anything goes woke generation can decide if they feel like a guy or girl or something in between.

Thank you!

What are parts 4,5,6 & 7 in the diagram?

Especially part 7, since it looks like 13/14 or 15 attach to part 7 and not directly to part #1

The 4 is a support / strengthening of the bumper. see image !
5 + 6 are lids. Are used in the 1.5 petrol and diesel (engine heat, Aero lock, trailer hitch)

I'm wondering why there are 2 versions of the non-ACC grills. What is the difference?

39107927 = NO ACC - Frame number 2 integrated - is plastic black
39107929 = NO ACC - Frame number 2 selectable - Chrome, High gloss black or GSI Version

Would you happen to have pictures of the different grills and selections?

So grill #39107927 does NOT require the Bezel (pos 2)?

Thank you very much for clarifying! You are a legend!

The tabs on the backer plate are used for aligning the griffin badge, the badge itself has the tabs to attach to the grille.

The reason there isn't much discussion on the Holden/Insignia forums about re-badging is, well, there isn't much to do other than get a badge (and back plate if not an Opel) and pop it on--the actual grilles are the same (within the parameters mentioned by Blitzparts).

Hope this helps.

I think that was me that mentioned the Vauxhall forums - I ran across these when searching for "Opel Insignia Grille Badges" and similar, and didn't save bookmarks as I wasn't interested in a Vauxhall rebadge. The comments weren't specific to rebadging, IIRC, they were more along the lines of folks doing repair work (after an accident) and carping about finding the Opel logo underneath their Vauxhall badge that got crunched.

What about POS 23 - decorative frame & 25 - Clip fixing radiator grille? It says "Unfortunately nobody can answer me if these are necessary"?

Could you also change out the logo on the hatch lid of the Sportback?
When Sportback / hatchback, unfortunately, the switch / push button must be changed.

1= 72,49 € ( for Opel )
3= 29,72 €

1= 75,27 € ( for Vauxhall )
4= no price currently available

In the German vehicles, these can be used by the old grill. Plug and play.
Unfortunately, I can not check if these parts are available in the Buick models.

Maybe @RoRi can write something about this, because he has already ordered a grille (without these parts) from us.
