Buick Ownership
Regal TourX
Re-Opelization of my T-Rex is complete. Total cost spent only $177. Time involved to rework the OEM front grill badge into what you see took about 3 hrs. Rear emblem just took a heat gun and careful removal of the Buick emblem. I think it looks way better, especially the color matched wheel center caps. Opel A.webp

You do realize you're not fooling anyone with those butt ugly TourX wheels ?

Why the negative vibe dude? I guess that's the internet for ya. For what I spent to make them look better it's worth it to me. Don't really care what negative keyboard warriors think. The Buick emblem looked like shit. The silver didn't even match the silver on the wheels.

Nice Job! I'll be posting the remaining/finishing touches(of the exterior) of my Opel conversion soon although mine was a GS. I almost have all the parts for the interior, only missing the gear shift knob. I once I finish with the exterior I'll post what i'll be doing to convert my airbag cover to an OEM look. Just have to find a spare Buick airbag cover.

...nice garage too. I like the floor. Meant to do that to mine but need to find a place to put all the crap that is in there now while doing it!

I like the wheels, and post this picture whenever I get the chance.
I dont know loves it when I do, I think he is the guy who is infatuated with Kathy Griffin.... so his taste is really bad.
Do not understand the motivation to change a Buick into a Opel.
I could understand if you had a brand like a Chevy, where you were ashamed to be seen in it ...with good reason.20190926_173406.webp

It is an Opel, rebaddged and sold as a Buick 😎
Check the VIN ...if you know how to decode... it is a Buick.
Until you remove or change it...it is a Buick.

I finally sourced these center caps for mine, too. Love the tri-color! Really dresses up the wheels!

Thanks germy shoe. Please do not take it personally if you come over and I ask you to take your shoes off, I ask everyone to do that.

You're the one that thinks Pontiac Aztecs and Kathy Griffin were pretty sweet looking rides back in the day.

Never liked Kathy Griffin and never mention her except when taking about you... since you always mention the b____...the 02 Aztec without black cladding was a great vehicle for my stupid ex, she loved it.

The worst part about the TourX for me is the community.
Dam did not know there was one of those, sounds like I could actually see another one there.
Guessing your a Mazda rotary man?
PS Did they name it TourX town?

Looks good. Does it have "adaptive cruise" that needs that front emblem to function? How did your mods facilitate that?
No adaptive cc. Therefore fairly easy to mod the OEM badge mount.

I see a beautiful wagon with a beautiful PRHT NC in that clean and nice garage.

Thank you. 2008 PRHT GT I bought in 2011. It was my daily driver until 2013 when I became paralyzed in a motorcycle roadracing crash. I still drive it, but it is my fun only car. I don't think it has been driven with the top up or in rain since 2014. Very fun car though. I've added Ohlins coilovers, wider wheels and tires and a few other bits. Engine is stock though. I live near good mountain roads so I'll take good handling over power for fun.

Sorry to hear about your motorcycle crash 🙁 glad you still have passion for automobiles though. Also a fan of the NC! I have a supercharged 2013 club.
