Tour X chrome delete.

I have been really tempted to do it but I am torn...there is a part of me that likes the way it transitions into the light. But that does look good.
I'll really have to wait for the windows to get tinted to figure out for sure. But I think it would only look better with tinted windows.

I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like the matte look. In my head I thought the gloss would look better. The matte matches the window trim and plastic trim around the fenders. It really ties it together.

I'd have to see the gloss black too!

I did think that too. Maybe I can get some some real matt vinyl and see. Again I would have to look again with the windows tinted. Also the roof rack is going to get wrapped as well. That would change the look too

If it helps I found a few pictures of the opel insignia sports tourer GSi black with the black package. If you need more I'll look for more.

Have you thought at all about PlastDip? Plenty of videos online, you can peel it off if you don't like it. I have the black too and was considering doing the chrome and the wheels matte black.

My thoughts exactly. Seeing another shot with the windows tinted may change my mind.

That looks sick, i really wish they would have offered the tourx without the plastic trim.

I have used plasti dip in the past. I have found that is doesnt come off as easy as they make it out to come off. I know they use outdoor vinyl in the offroad community to change the rim color. I was thinking about doing that to my rims for the time being.

Sharpie marker!! 🤣

While it's not my preferred look, I still do like the chrome delete look, especially on a black car. I think it'd look good glossy, though, as the plastic trim on the underside of the windows is glossy black.

Almost finished with my blackout. Had the rack rails and the chrome trim above the side windows wrapped. Wrapped the trim around the fog lamps and the wings on the grille. Also wrapped the bright trim on the taillights. Removed all trim from the tailgate and blackened the Buick shield. Black wheels, window tint, painted calipers and rotors. Just ordered a set of smoked repeaters in the front fenders. Still have to have the lower front bumper extension and rear gray lower bumper painted.

I can't stand red and black motif, but that looks pretty good.

I think it looks great, especially with the black wheels. I'm switching to black wheels, and am considering the vinyl wrap on the chrome. Did you do it yourself, or do you have any more info about the type of vinyl, method, or cost?

Thanks!

Is that gloss back Plastidip???

Looks awesome, I might see if I can muster the energy to do that. Was there any particular reason you left the roof rails alone?
I don't really like the full blacked out look. Even the wheels were my wife's choice so I left the rails gray because I like the offset

yes. Plasti dip sells a glossifier that I do multiple layers of above everything after I get the black layers in
I was considering doing all the chrome in a matte gunmental color, with same color wheels, on a black car. I guess I have time to try it, lol.

great pics, thanks all

these cars look really good to me in ALL configurations - but then, I'm probably biased...
