In the process of removing the turbo oil drain line (runs from the turbo to the oil pan) but there is a second bolt holding the line in. There is a bunch of stuff in the way, I am not sure if I need to drop the exhaust, drop the catalytic converter, and maybe even remove more stuff. I really do not want to take this to a shop or the dealer and get bent over a table. Has anyone had an issue like this before? Thank you.

Dropped the exhaust and removed the cat. Not as bad as I thought. Tomorrow I'm going to the dealer to buy the replacement gasket for $5. Hopefully the oil leak will be remedied.

Where was the oil leaking? I am having a small oil leak issue and trying to diagnose...thanks.

12589435 was the gasket I replaced. The old one had lots of bare metal exposed. It is better, but it is seeping oil now instead of dripping.

There is also a coolant leak as well now. After doing some research, it appears to me that the oil and cooling pipes may need to be replaced. They could have a slight crack in them.

Was the leak by the passenger side? Near the drain plug?

I'm getting a leak from the banjo bolts, I believe there are some microscopic cracks there. I also replaced the washers around the bolts and that didn't help. I will get a photo for you tomorrow.

Hey bud, sorry I'm down at Lejeune right now so I've been a little busy but my car is running again. I'll get that photo for you. I needed to replace all three lines (2 coolant and 1 oil if I remember correctly) and then I used some stopleak as well.

Ok cool, I would appreciate the picture. I think i may have the exact same problem...leaking from somewhere by the yellow area and dripping on the ground from the red area...

Yes, I checked that gasket as well and there was no leak. Did you ever notice if your passenger side CV boot & engine cradle were coated with oil?

It wasn't coated in oil. I just had some small drips. The majority was burning off the turbo. Use brake clean to clean it off. Then you will be able to see more easily as it leaks.

I don't have any oil burning off whatsoever. Can't smell any either. Whatever the leak is, it drips off the exhaust bracket on the oil pan....

Okay, then your leak is lower than mine was. Tomorrow spray brake cleaner on your engine and remove as much oil as you can. Then start the car. If it's leaking that much, you should be able to find the problem relatively quickly.

Okay, I'll give that a shot. I just posted a pic on the above message to show where the oil drips to the ground. It is a very small, slow leak but still annoying.

Worst case scenario, high a mobile mechanic to check it out. The guy I hired charged $180 (I gave him a tip in addition) to replace the lines. It was a horrible job with no room to work, I'm so glad that I hired him. And it was pouring rain.
