1994 buick century 3.1l swap

Good evening guys . The 2.2l engine in my 1994 buick threw a rod. I have a totaled out 2001 buick century with 3.1 v6. I was wondering would it be possible to swap the 3.1l engine, trans and harness from wreck 2001 buick century over to my 1994 buick century? Thanks for the help and advice in advance

I suspect anything can be done, but it is a question of how easy! If you do the swap it would be cool to see pictures and documentation. The 3.1L is a great motor.

Were you thinking of swapping the 3.1 into the '94 K frame, or swapping the '01 K frame into the '94?

Well the idea was to just pull the 3.1 and harness out of the 01 body then drop everything into the 94 buick century. Should i change the k frame? Also what would i do about the anti theft system for as cranking engine since steering column and key switch are different?

Let me just suggest you need to take the time and look at what parts are compatible between the two years as it appears that the swap is more wishful than practical. The frames are different to begin with and that would be just the beginning of trying to make it work, find another 2.2 and maybe sell/trade the other vehicle if possible for the 2.2.
