I have a 2015 Buick LaCrosse 6-cylinder AWD. I bought it with 35K miles and currently has 75K miles.
Do you guys change your spark plugs at the manufacturer's suggested 105K miles? Or do you find spark plug wear and misfires happen before then?

You will find with the GM vehicles that even when you pull them out at 100k miles they will be in very good condition (and the car will run fine) - so I usually wait for the 100k.
 
Type of driving service on the vehicle may influence the performance of the plugs. Yes they can go 100K but other things can influence the longevity, so if in doubt pull one out and inspect or replace the wires and plugs now and forget it about for another 75k.

I just did my wife's Ford Edge this weekend at 70K because I got an engine code for cylinder misfire. I pulled out all the plugs and the gaps were between .62 - .70 and were supposed to be between .49-.54. The cylinder misfiring had the .70 plug. Ford also says no spark plug change till 100k so it got me thinking if GM engines were the same.

My last 4-5 GM vehicles have been very low maintenance and very reliable. For e.g., my 2010 LaCrosse has had one repair which was the water pump which some people even argue is a "maintenance item." So I have spent USD600 in 11 years in repairs.
 
And that has what to do with possible spark plug replacement? They are either good or bad no matter what vehicle they are in.
 
Change them. While the plugs can technically go 100k should it? After many thousands of miles the resistance in the plugs build. The car is smart enough to increase the voltage to compensate for that. As it does the wear and temperature begin to increase which could prematurely kill the coil pack(s). So instead of a $8 plug you now need a $8 plug and a $100 coil pack. Multiply by however many happen to fail. Personally I change mine at 50k. I think asking 100k out of a plug is asking a lot. They are cheap enough to change especially if you have a four banger and they are all right there on top. The V6 is a bit more involved with the three against the firewall, however it is not expensive to put it in the shop if your not up to the task.
 
I'm old school. I replace my plugs at 60K.

If you have a V-6 get an intake manifold gasket. You'll need to pull the manifold to get to the back plugs.
 
Guessing you haven't done or seen one of these engines, manifold is removed.
 
My mistake....didn't notice the year. 😳

I was thinking 3.8 V6....oopsie 😀
