Buick Ownership
Encore Essence GX ST
Do they make them? I haven't found any.

GM does not make splash guards for the Encore GX ST model. They just don't exist through Buick or GM. Most likely because the body cladding is different than any other Encore GX model. Both Buick.com and the Buick accessories website indicates that the splash guards are for NON-ST models only.

Have to tried to find any through a third party manufacturer? Maybe amazon? Good luck!

Thanks GS, I haven't found them on Amazon or eBay, and I'm starting to get used to not having them, but I stipulated splash guards as part of my "deal" when I bought the car and I'm not going to let it go. To me it's "essential" that my Essence has mud guards...lol

Scott: I was in the same position as you back in the spring, I wanted some kind of mud flap on my new GX/ST but nobody made them. I finally quit looking for a molded guard and found a set of GM flaps (flat) that can be used on the ST models. I purchased them from the GM dealer (part #19213386) you will need 2 pair to do front and rear. The fronts will go on with no trimming, but the rears will need some trimming to get them to fit correctly.

Singlecruzer3, can you take some pics of the inside of the fender wells so we can see how you mounted them?

they dont make them so we got rear cargo mat instead but i really wanted mud flaps

Do the mud flaps stop the build up of sand in the crease on the frame when opening the door, in the winter I have a 2021 gx.
also anyone else have the cold draft on the driver side on the leg

I posted 2 photos of the mounting side of the flaps. (sorry they are turned to the left and I can't get them to change) As you can see in the rear flap I had to trim a section of the mudflap to fit the inner wheel area. The screws are just a self tapping screw that is part of the inner wheel.

Hi singlecruzer,

I was wondering… do you regret installing these mud guards? Have you noticed a noticeable difference in wind noise?

Thanks,
