What is this about and how do you stop it from popping up at random ? This started about 2 months ago, car purchased new 1/17/20.
ONSTAR people are clueless.

I entered the password for the myBuick app and it went away. Only comes back on if I don’t drive it for a week or two.

It shouldn't keep coming on or it is a Nag screen.

What does it want the Password for ? We have never had anything but the initial Onstar free trial when we first bought the car nearly 2 years ago

It is requesting your GM or myBuick account. This is what keeps track of the vehicle health status on the Buick Owners website. If you have created a password for that, it's the same here. Enter your Buick Owners password and it will go away, unless the vehicle is unused for a period of time as @JoeBlog mentioned.

It is not just a nag screen like it get when "ice may be possible" etc.

It is very annoying that it keeps coming back once in a while.
Unlike the nav screen that warns you after certain amount of ignition cycles, which serves an actual purpose of warning.

I failed to mention but the "DO NOT REMIND ME" button does not stop the reminders. You can press the button and it reappears immediately some times. You have to keep fiddling with it to make the reminder go away.

Same here and they never came back. They prompt after the firmware update.

keeps popping-up AFTER entering a password? don't like the sound of that

is a "connected" vehicle getting hacked, phished, etc?

Just part of the Modern Auto INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM NIGHTMARES.

From what I have read INFOTAINMENT systems are the #1 complaint of modern car owners.

Really makes me love my 2012 Equinox base model with REAL knobs and buttons and no DAMN touch screen.

P.S. Have any of you had your screen display the NEW message to keep your eyes on the road ! THIS IS FOR REAL - just not the exact wording ! Don't you love the irony that you must take your eyes off the road to read "keep your eyes on the road" !

I haven't seen that one yet - maybe I had my eyes on the road and missed it

Sure wish I kept the '70 Skylark in the barn...

HERE IT IS - WAS ON DURING DRIVING ! ! ! - - - OH THE IRONY !tAKE eYES oFF rOAD20220109_125028.webp

After start-up, then stayed on for several minutes
unless you took your eyes off the road and touched the OK button.

THEN THIS MIGHT COME ON AND STAY ON FOR SEVERAL MINUTES WHILE DRIVING !

The first warning is supposed to show upon a number of ignition cycles. I am totally with you that the damn warning staying on the screen if not tapping on the OK is not ideal.
The other one is way more ridiculous.
