I have a 2014 Verano. Multiple symptoms - service steering, service stabilitrak, limp mode. I have replaced negative cable. I have replaced battery. The dealership can't find the problem. HELP please. I've searched the forum and while there are many threads, I have yet to see a reported and confirmed fix.

anyone? please.

Thanks

Scott

What codes show for the various systems?

I have a 2013 Regal.. similar situation last year turned out to be throttle body. $150 parts and labor to fix. Plastic gears inside were broken.

Code(s)? Otherwise it guessing and it could be any number of problems.

Loud chimes from dashboard, message flashes "service stabilitrac" , then "service ABS", then notice that engine will reduce power. Barely made it off the road to a nearby garage. Mechanic diagnosed it within minutes, repair was done within a couple hours.
I had another incident with chimes, "service stabilitrac" and Service ABS" notice, but car did not go into limp mode. This one was wheel bearing. Apparently the ABS system works by reading small magnets mounted in the wheel bearing. This incident cost about $350.

My Verano has the same warning lights, but also has the ‘service parking assist’, check engine light comes on and is doing the same with limp mode and won’t go over 45 mph at 3k rpm but eventually shifts after driving about 5 miles. I know it’s going to shift when the doors automatically lock. Scanner gave a code indicating something wrong with the connection to the TCM but I don’t have enough confidence to go that route yet. Please repost if you find anything and I’ll do the same.

I really thank you guys for this info. It was driving me crazy, now to check everything they say to check.
My 2014 Buick Verano was doing all the same things and I had it scanned over and over again, even cleared the codes to only have them come back again after driving the car for 30 miles. It would jerk hard and that's when all the warning signs would pop up on the message center. So I'm about to go thru all the info I've retrieved from you guys and pray it works out.

car went into limp mode, after chimes from dashboard. Similar message flashed, 'service stabilitrac", etc. Car would barely move forward. luckily it happened within a block of a trusted garage. He diagnosed the problem and had the part replaced within an hour of taking the car in.
