Recently my 2012 buick regal, 143k miles has been having reoccuring control module issues. Either failing or not communicating. Pcm, bcm, ebcm, pbcm, just to name a couple. It's not everytime but it is frequent. One day I could start the car and all is good. I could turn it off without doing anything, restart and it's throwing codes. Cycle the ignition and it could all disappear. There are no noticeable effects of performance. Although depending on the issue maybe the cluster won't energize or the easiest monitor will not cycle on the display. But again cycle the engine on off and it could all go away. I'm lost. There has gotta be a central point of issue for them all. Any ideas?

Powers and grounds. Squirrels or chipmunks chewing the wires.

The Usual Suspects

I have a 2012 buick regal gs and got a code P062F and my car started shutting off in traffic and it was not shifting correctly and sometimes it would not turn on.

Did you have yours fixed . I am looking into a shop on ebay who will reprogram a new pcm to your vin for $139.00 they have a warranty as well the reviews were really good.
