Buick Ownership
2020 Regal GS
I'm fully prepared to be roasted for these questions haha.
With that said, I just got my car 2 days ago and I can't figure out how to reconfigure the home screen layout. Surely there is a way to rearrange the home screen layout?!
Secondly, I've noticed some GS's have the GS logo at the bottom of the gauge cluster screen. However, mine does not? Is there some type of setting you have to enable?
Lastly, I noticed my car didn't come with the sport pedals. The dealership told me 2020s didn't get them due to supply issues? They did give me the part number, but for $180 is there a similar version that's cheaper that will also fit?

Thanks for everyone's time!

I don't have the new UI, but can't you just press (and hold) to select, then drag that icon to reposition it?

I can press and hold to reconfigure the icons, but I'm talking about the actual home screen that shows the navigation music and phone.

Do you mean the 4 icons in the bottom row or the 8 icons above that?
I do not believe the bottom row can be rearranged.

The layout of this home menu. Like swapping the navigation and audio positions. Like why would they have the audio section so huge for the navigation section so small?

Everything is done with the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel.
What does this even mean? Lol
Yes the controls on the right side of the steering wheel cycle through the information on the gauge cluster.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I have 2018 GS and I thought that you were referring to the instrument cluster. On that display, I believe that I read on here that the GS at bottom is not on 2019-20 models. As far as radio/nav screen, I don’t think mine can be changed, however, that screen was also changed on 2019-20 models.
I purchased a set of sport pedals on Amazon after dealer accidentally trashed mine when replacing sensor. Cheap but I’m sorry I can’t remember the price as it was three years ago.
Enjoy the car. They are terrific.

I do not believe that can be done.

+1...The split screen display cannot be arranged in any other way. I wish we could prioritize navigation over media too, @OFF2theGYM.

No GS logo in the cluster after 2018.5/2019.

My 2019 wasn't equipped with the sport pedals either. I found the part number (19212762) and bought a new set off of FleaBay. I believe they are the exact same as the Malibu covers, so they should be easy to get ahold of.

I'm sure you can found a set for way more less on AliExpress.

Ugh how unfortunate the layout can't be changed! Its almost trigging the way they did it. Haha
Bummer on the GS logo, seems like a set backwards. Also thank for okay number. I'll see if I can try some Malibu pedals!

Ah I had come across red/white needle cars. Annoying they ditched the GS logo.
You can buy this insert for the steering wheel if you want to see GS.
