Correct Oil Pan for 2018 TourX

I need some help concerning the oil pan for my 2018. I hit a big rock left on the highway due to construction Thursday. The construction company is being really good about it. There was some oil leaking and the dealer says the oil pan needs to be replaced. They say the pan is GM 25202731 (seems to be one piece). However they can't get it until the end of October. But I see a two piece pan (upper and lower) also with the lower pan being 12692498 replacing 12676336. I could get either much sooner. Does anyone know what's up or have a picture?

Go back to the dealer and tell them to see an optometrist. That 252... does Not fit a 2018 Tourx.

How did a rock get past the VERY stout steel belly pan on the Tourx?

🤔 looks like part #12676336, which is the complete assembly - upper & lower, has been discontinued.

#25202731, an one-piece, is listed for '14-'17 Regals & several other vehicles with the 2.0L & some 2.5L models.
#12692498 has been replaced by #28289985, which also crosses over to some of those same vehicles listed for #25202731.

Maybe they'll all bolt up and with the original discontinued are the only dealer option?

Sounds like your upper casing is cracked, but i obviously i don't know that from here...

You might have more luck finding #'s 12654316, 12662938 or 12673395, which preceded #12676336.

Sorry, a little off topic and doesn't help answer the part number question but I was interested to see same pans fit our era Regal 2.0s with no distinction of FWD or AWD since AWD has a 6qt oil capacity and FWD has a 5 qt. oil capacity.

Thanks! That takes me back. I didn't really see a definitive answer to the question where the extra capacity is but I might have gotten distracted with the exchange between the 2 unmissed former members which was entertaining by itself. 🤣

Well that did not work out. The correct complete pan has a much smaller steel pan on the bottom. Car is marooned at the dealer for who knows how long. The insurance for the construction company has agreed to $34.99 a day for lost use. That is their national Enterprise rate so hard to argue. I bought the car outright and have another car to use so it's ok but not great. Crazy that GM had a) no pans anywhere in the country before the strike and b) now hides behind the strike. I planned on parts trouble when I bought the car and it has arrived. It is absolutely crazy how many pan configurations GM has used on their stalwart 2.0 engine over the years. Perhaps 100. I did an interview for a GM summer job while I was in law school around 2000. I was too polite not to end it half way through. File cabinets full of paper forms in a dusty office- just shoot me.

Yes. The correct one has a smaller flatter steel lower pan. The aluminium upper pan is different also. I found a 336 and the dealer tried and it did not fit,
