2011 Buick Lucerne
I need to remove a tire to change my Windshield wiper pump. I intend to buy a bottle jack and JACK STANDS. I am not sure what jack to get or where to use it.
I will only use it a few times so budget is key. Maybe I will rotate my tires depending on how conformable I am with the jack and stands.

If the jack points on the car are single points, how do I use the jack with the stands?

Summary.

1. Where do I jack up the car?
2. What jack works good with this car?
3. What stands work with the car?

Check the owners manual for jack points. Can't say if a bottle jack will clear as I use a low profile floor jack and a puck to lift on the pinch welds. My two sets of jack stands are 2 and 3 ton rated along with being different heights based on requirements and will place on frame area for support.

Not exactly a answer to your question, but it's the only way I know how to do it and be safe.

On the washer pump, removing the plastic wheel well and turning the tire in may be a option to consider.

According to the lift guides at my work; these are the official jacking and lifting points for the Lucerne.

Can I put the car on ramps then turn the wheel? (Standard sized plastic ramps).

You can get a real floor jack at Harbor Freight for $99
What about the Walmart one for 80 with stands? No Harbor Freight close.
2.25 ton
lifts up to a maximum of 13-3/4"

This is the correct answer. Everyone thank you for your help!

Here is my step by step.
I took off about 8 plastic clips closest to the front of the car under the front right tire (under the fill tank) using a screw driver and a small nail puller.
Turned the wheel.
Pulled the shroud back.
Unhooked the power cable, there was a wire clip.
Put a bucket under the car and removed the hose.
When drained I removed the part. On the Buick Lucerne 2011, no screws, it just clips into the reservoir tank using the post on top of the pump .
It drained more.
Then I removed the rubber grommet in the tank where the pump went into the reservoir tank.
I added the grommet that came with the pump.
Put the new pump down spout into the grommet.
Snapped the pump into the reservoir.
Hooked up the hose into the pump.
Filled the tank a little way with new fluid.
Tested the new pump.
Put the clips back on.
Replaced the clips that broke.
Filled the tank completely.
