Encore horn honking while parked.

My 2021 Encore has recently started honking the horn if the car is running while in park. After 3 or 4 minutes, if I have not shut the car off, it honks once. About a minute later it honk several times very quickly. I've tried shutting the car off, but if I don't get it off the car it will still honk after a couple of minutes. I don't know if it matters, but we recently had to replace the battery. The honking did not occur before the battery replacement.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

my brothers 2024 started doing this also. did you figure what was the issue with it

Are you inside the car or outside of the car when this happens? If you're 1) outside, and 2) the car is running, and 3) you have the fob, and 4) the door is shut, then it will honk to say "hey, you may have left it running unintentionally.", but it should honk right away with this condition. Don't know if it repeats after some time, I never let it idle that long.

we were inside the car before we went inside our work and it honk 4 mins apart and just honk 1 once each time

Mine has done that too. Scared me. Did you figure it out? I'd live to know
