Ngl Im skeptical about the lights posted by hot, c an you show me what your beam is like on a wall at night with your truck? We can compare beams 😉

Also, the only difference is gmt 800 doesnt use the high beam for DRL so if you really like having DRL you would have to find a solution(there are numerous)

Since you are "skeptical" about my LED's, I will try to post some pics tomorrow night. BTW, I use these on both high-low beams. My truck has separate DRL lens & bulbs, so I don't have to worry about that.

have you done a 4 HI mod or module by chance? Its a common mod, but to my understanding its not actually that helpful to see as it is to be "cool" lol. And yes. I put amber LED in my DRL, no reason other than I dont have 2 free white LED at this time and I broke one of the bulbs lol. I had to chock my wheels and put it in gear with key on in order to test if it worked (could be 180 out) because I have 0 parking brake sine I pulled the guts out which failed and were sticking applied. Right now my driver side is LED and my passenger is halogen, i think I mentioned I had an oopsie lol, i need to buy a single bulb for both.. so not putting a rush on it, lol, ill just get a new set and have a spare LED set incase of failure or damage in the future.

I did my pau and few years ago. I used Firehawk brand from Amazon. It took some tweaking for perfect alignment but they work great. Only issues I had was clearance. I had to take my Dremel tool and cut a little for the bulbs to seat and clear the radiator support but no big deal. Also the DRL would work if I used the stock wiring but I have a jumper kit that turns on the low beam with the high beam activated ( all 4 lights) on. With this in the circuit DRL's don't work. No big deal for me

Could you show us what it looks like from infront of the headlight and from the above the headlight with hood open? And how do you like it? Hi beam and low beam are HID or just the high beam?

I heard there's been a lot of tornado activity in tornado Alley this past month. Where in NY do you live? I lived in North Jersey majority of my life . Yankee fan since 75 💪

I had to cut out the original grill to install the stainless one you see. Yea, it is not OEM! The light housings are all new last year. No rust anywhere on this baby!

This was my Land Rovers frame....
Its running 24V so no LED conversion here sadly.


OSRAM does offer some really high quality lamps. Have seen them working in an old 80s Mercedes.
The road is bright and widely lit.
Be aware of cheap chinese bulbs, they tend to be just bright as hell, blind the upcoming traffic but wont improve your sight at all.

Might have to take them out again when our annual car test is due.

I put the leds in - I had ordered the wrong ones first: in European models the bulbs are different: standard H4 for both low and high beam. Also put in leds for the little parking lights. No cornering lights on mine.

The connectors were all gooey, not sure why. I cleaned them a bit.

They're very bright - the very white light doesn't really suit the car, but at least I can see in the dark now 🙂

I've spent some time watching videos on headlight revolution's youtube channel, and there is quite a difference in beam pattern and and brightness between different manufacturer's bulbs. I did replace the bulbs on both of my current bikes with LEDs and it made a big difference, but I don't remember what brands I ended up with. All I know is I hate color temps over about 4k. And I don't want to blind oncoming drivers with my low beams.

I also remember reading/hearing somewhere that as of now none of these bulbs are DOT legal for retrofits (on road) but in the near future there will be a standard that allows them to be legal if they can meet it. Mostly to do with not blinding oncoming drivers.

hmm, I need to adjust the headlamps now - they're brighter, but mainly illuminate the top of the trees. Haven't figured out how to do that yet ('96 PA).

Instructions will be In the owners manual. If you don't have one just Google the instructions using the year of your car .

Don't overlook that you may need to clock the LEDs in the housing. Once inserted and the collar is tightened, they may be able to spin as much as 180° to allow you to adjust precisely where the light is hitting the reflector, and that alone could change where the light falls.

I checked the owners manual, but couldn't find it there. But that video was great - it showed me exactly which of the adjusters was the wrong one. And by elimination I found the right one.
