I am having an oil leak in my 2016 Buick Encore. It is not on the oil filter housing and nothing is visible up top on the engine. I just can't find where the leak is but it is pretty severe (fresh oil dripping down.) It is leaking from somewhere mid engine to where the transmission meets the block. It is not on the oil pan at all. I've attached a few picks from the underside but they are pretty lousy. Any help or ideas would be great. Ended up being the oil filter housing, which is also the "oil cooler". Decided to have local shop do it. Cost was $1400. I know the turbo has to be taken out, fluids drained and alot removed to get to it.

Dang, I'm having the same problem. It's running down the front of the engine. Thank you for updating as I was worried I had a cracked block or something.

Welcome. There are a few youtube videos that show how to change the oil filter housing (remove turbo, etc) online. I just wasn't feeling an 8-10 hour job to fix it but it is DIY possible.
