Yeah even this one worked to get the engine and trans live data when the car was running for some reason it just won’t open that chassis menus.
The VXDIAG just has a simple USB to the computer and the device, then the OBDII connector

can it do the engine while its off but key on too?

Well now it’s not connecting at all to give me anything….it might be a driver issue I don’t even know. But no I couldn’t see engine when key on engine off. I reached out to the tech support team

They’re telling me “sorry your car is too old it’s going to have connection issues, try a 2000 model
Year or newer” LOL useless.
