Thanks for allowing me access to your community. Appreciated.

I immigrated to Florida in Nov 2020 from Scotland. I understand Buick was started by a Scot(?) which began my interest in the Make. Some reading and I was soon hooked on the 1995 - 2005 LeSabre and its incredible engine (3.8L?). I know a little about cars but confess I know nuthin about US Cars. In my day I did a lot of work on cars. Now at almost 66yo, those days are behind me🥴

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. How often did you see a Buick in Scotland before moving to Florida?

That's a shame. There have been so many nice Buicks over the years. I'm sure many people in Sweden would have loved to own one. Which Buick do you have now? LeSabre?

Nothing wrong with the Pathfinder. There's a large following for that SUV and for good reason. There's lots of nice Buicks to choose from. In time. 🙂

The Pf is fine but I will never buy another or a Nissan. I feel Nissan does not stand behind its product. The CVT is a mess! Hey ho.....we live and learn. I guess I am old school. Anologue driving is the future (for me at least)

Nissan recalls over 440,000 vehicles.

Thank you for this information however my vehicle is 2013, 3.5 L and is not part of the recall.

I would be extremely surprised if Nissan did anything about this now. I understand the new Pf does not use the CVT. Samsung ASSIST tells us....

"The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder features a 9-speed automatic transmission instead of a continuously variable transmission (CVT)."

Perhaps Nissan finally got the message?

LeSabres are very nice cars. If you need help deciding an a specific one, make a post in the LeSabre section and ask the other owners. Welcome aboard!

Thank you. When it comes to American cars I need all the guidance I can get. Harleys were different😂
