So my CXS started to run a little weird and I knew I needed to do some suspension work so I parked it and ordered parts, I would remote start it and let it run off on its own once a week. One day I came out after about 3 weeks of not driving it anymore than a couple hundred feet in my parking lot and the right front brake like was busted right in the front under the radiator support. I replaced it and bled it out three separate times and still have no pedal. This is the second time I've had to remove a brake line from the abs block so I'm a little concerned about that though I was careful and covered/cleaned everything in the area. Is there part that this year and model is known to go bad and cause no pedal? If it's a master cylinder does anyone have a link to a site where I can get a rebuilt kit for the master cylinder or where I can get a good affordable abs block?

Brake caliber may be rusted, but the entire brake system should be inspected. Caliber rubber hoses can collapse, master cylinder can go bad, air in the brake system and the ABS should be cycled with a scan tool. Rust and slide pins are additional areas to keep in mind, not on site it's best guessing.

I checked all the rubber hoses and calipers and slide pins. Everything is good as far as the caliper and hoses go. I'm not sure about the master cylinder because I don't know any way to diagnose that. Is there a way to diagnose the master cylinder for a leak? And I actually just asked my boss if I could borrow the scan tool from Work so I could cycle my abs when I'm done work today.

If you got air in the brake system then you need to bleed the entire system. There is a specific bleeding sequence and key on brake pedal for the Lucerne that should be followed to eliminate problems. Master cylinder if depressed engine running should be firm, if not it may be worn out unless there is air in the system.

I did the automated bleed on the ABS and That worked
