Looks Drives Like New.
Have been looking for a Buick Lucerne CXL for 6 years. The year I joined this forum.
My requirements were quite specific.
Low miles
Column Shift
Leather Seats
Heated Seats
Heated steering wheel
Factory remote start
One owner
No accidents
No rust
Always garaged
Signed up for all of the car selling websites.
Finally got an email from one of the car selling websites for this Buick Lucerne. I was the first person to call about this Buick as sales person did not even know car was on lot. Just traded in. Price was fair as I don't think dealership knew of folks like me seeking a Buick Lucerne.
I telephoned this Buick Dealership and asked sales person to walk around and state all dents and dings, etc. None stated. Miles driven per year verified at about 1,100 per year. So not a long time sitting car.
I left a deposit by phone. Then drove 1.5 days to verify that car was what sales person stated. Had them put up on lift. Bottom looked like a new car.
There was not one mark on exterior of car. No signs of any paint/body work. Interior like new. Original floor mats clean. Miles on odometer verified. Dealership had put new quality tires on car. I put insurance on car.
A 2nd trip down to dealership was by booked flight. To pay for car and pick up. Sales person picked me up at airport to dealership. That state allows temporary plates.
Drove home. 1.5 day drive.
The color was not my 1st or 2nd choice. But finding a car such is this is quite difficult and time consuming. So color is just fine now.
Buick made some fine sedans at one point. And this one rides drives like a dream. Super quiet. Super comfortable.
I have no idea what option package this car has. As Buick offered 2 or 3 option packages in 2010
The car is beautiful. Drives like a dream.
