Has anyone had issues with the Oil pressure sensors failing on the 3.8L? Out of (5) 00-05 LeSabre daily drivers in the family, we have (4) that are reading max. pressure. I'll confirm that the sensors are bad with an ohm meter before ordering replacements. I was just curious if any other Gen-2 3.8L are experiencing oil sensor issues and might have more insight to offer?

Common problem, the sensor is bad. Search the site for more info.
Agreed. Extremely common issue on Lesabres and that is how they fail, reading about 120 or so. I’ve had to replace these on all but one of mine. Pretty easy to replace, IMO. Take right front wheel off and go in that way and it’s easy to get to. Usually only a trickle of oil will come out. Get an ACDelco or name brand, not a cheapo Chinesium junk.

Yes, mine was leaking (as they all will do at some point.). Replaced sensor and all is good. There was a small oil leak on the garage floor. Change it before it gets worse.
