1967 Wildcat project car
Hi Folks,

My name is Brad and I have just acquired a 1967 Wildcat convertible project car. My Dad had one of these back when they were new so I am very excited about fixing this one in his memory. Built a page for my project at: 1967 Buick Wildcat convertible in memory of Jack Wilson
I am having trouble decoding the VIN from the service manual. The last part makes sense but 16667 is not matching the chart?

Brad

The first digit is a 4 not a 1. 66 is a Wildcat, 67 is a Convertible Coupe 2Dr

I'm a big fan of car/motorcycle project threads. Post up photos on things as you go! 👍

Also, since I am dealing with a lost title issue, the bonding company are wanting a value as is. KBB etc. don't go back that far and there are few comps for project cars it seems.

When you get 'em done, they're quite beautiful!IMG_0011.webp
What I started with (after extensive bodywork).

Funny... I read your page - I once had a 1979 Ford Thunderbird. I had a racing engine custom built for it. We called it "The Fabulous Thunderbird" and it surprised many drivers in its day.

Mainly trying to figure out what the car came with, especially interior wise. I guess they did not detail options back then like on a more modern GM SPID label!
