it looks like there is no longer a single password however an individual library card ID does work. I can understand why someone wouldn't want to share that.

Just sign up for a free library card at the Baltimore County Public Library as gs750 mentioned, so there's no risk of getting it shut down from multiple using the same card number. Its not a password anymore. It needs your library card number for access.

Baltimore County Public Library has online registration and it doesn't look like there's a residency requirement. Give that a try.

I chose the Towson Branch, then I entered my real zip code. I used my real address as well, made it legit so I wouldn't have any issues later.
