Hey guys, been fighting with my wipers for the last little while and can't figure this problem out. When I first got the car the wipers worked but they wouldn't shut off, or they would seldomly/randomly shut off. The delay didn't work properly either, it was 2 speeds only. So I replaced the green relay, didn't fix it. I then replaced the stalk, still didn't fix it. Couple months later my wipers stopped mid wipe, and I couldn't do what I normally do, fiddle with the stalk until I can get them to reset.
I thought my wiper motor finally quit on me, so I ordered a new one and that still didn't fix my problem so I ordered a new wiper control module, I tested it out and it worked but my wipers wouldn't turn off, the delay worked, all modes worked, except off. So I restarted my car, they did reset but I was unable to get them to move again, the fuse didn't blow either.
I'm really out of ideas here, I've replaced pretty much everything I can think of. I'm thinking it's the parking switch or something? The wiring may look jankey and that's because it is, I've had to do some trial and error so there is quite a few crimps on the wires, I feel like the wiring must be wrong or something but I tested all the connecters and they seem to be receiving power, does anything look wrong to you? Any ideas of what could be going on? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks guys.
