GS Production numbers?

I was reading a listicle about car models with low sales numbers today and it got me wondering: does anyone know how many 2018+ Regal GSes they made?

Not sure about 2019+, but here are the values for 2018 for US and Canada.

A total of 16,141 Buick Regals were produced for the 2018 model year overall (US and Canada combined).

Canada:

• A total of 508 Buick Regals produced in 2018 went to Canada
• 138 were Sportback GS models (4ZZ68)
• 57 featured the Ebony Twilight Metallic (GB9) exterior color

United States:

• A total of 15,633 Buick Regals produced in 2018 went to the United States
• 580 were Sportback GS models (4ZZ68)
• 209 featured the Ebony Twilight Metallic (GB9) exterior color

Approximately 1300 GS vehicles imported to US 2018-20. This is the reason that there are so few available on the used market and values remain high.

I sold my 2016 gs 4cyl. With the 20 chrome wheels and bought the 2018 gs in black. I still get looks in 2025 with 100k on it. Drives great and no issues to date. Just wish it had power hatch.

Just noticed your comment about the hatch. I thought that the GS should have had a hatch release in the drivers door at the least. My Envision has power open/close from rear, from the door or from the key fob. Very handy.
Let me tell you though that nothing takes the place of the 2018-20 GS. I traded mine in a year ago and I miss it.

Supposedly these are the numbers by year per the GM Heritage Center/archive:
2018: 6,104
2019: 2,941
2020: 205

This is from another thread on GS numbers. These seem to be slightly more than the 1300 GM claims, but gives an overall idea of numbers.

I haven't been tracking the GS for a while now, but I am surprised in the difference between the GM Heritage Center/archive and what I have. I wonder how they came to 1300. If anything I would assume they would have a handful more.

Curious on the source of your numbers because your total is really close to what I pulled from GART, the GM warranty system, early in 2019 but it is a little short. I wonder if maybe all of them didn't get exported? Like saleable units that stayed with Opel in Germany possibly are missing from your count?

33 Silver
123 have no moonroof
14 are silver with no moonroof
