I APOLOGIZE THIS POST IS SO LONG, BUT THIS IS FOR THE REAL MECHANICS.. IM HOPING ONE OF YOU CAN EDUCATE ME WITH A SOLUTION---
The radiator went out in my sister's car and it's sat for about a month before we could actually get it put in, because we had to wait for the part. So we got the car up and running and first thing we did was go to the gas station to put gas in the car, well, when we put the nozzle in the gas tank and tried to put gas in it, it would come right back out. It wouldn't shoot out, but it would just spill out like it was already filled, but I took a drain snake and put it in it to see if there was something maybe blocking it and I can't see anything blocking it. I put a funnel in it, but it seems like it's filled or it's just not going down. I don't know what the problem is. What could it be? I checked and nobody has put sugar or anything in the tank. I just don't know what the problem could be. And I know it's not frozen because I tried to put gas in it just the other day and it was 65 degrees outside. And it's still doing the same thing as it was when it was cold outside.I'm lost and I don't know what to do. I could take the back wheel off and do what's needed to check the line. But what could it be?

I have same situation.. even used a longer funnel and a gas can to put it in slowly.. it just stays at the top like its full. Its driving me insane

Yes the check engine light is on
Do you have a check engine light on?
Air has to vent when filling with gas and your description points to the evaporative vent soleno
