antifreeze

I was adding fluid about every 2 months 1/2 quart ANTIFREEZE DEXICOOL , AND i NOTICED THIS LITTLE CYLINDER HEAD PLUG NEAR THE FAN BELT UP TOP HERE IS SOME PHOTOS TO HELP YO HELP ME WHAT THIS IS OR WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF i TRY TO TIGHTEN IT BECAUSE ITS A torqux head type?

Hello I have not been the first to ask this question but could it be the antifreeze smell coming from a leak in the intake manifold/gasket. I couldnt find any leaks anywhere else, not the floorboard, around the radiator, pipes. 2011 buick lacrosse 3.6

Okay - I'd like to throw out a reminder to everyone - especially those in the colder climes - that you need to check your heater/defroster to make sure that it's in good working order for the winter. We sort of ignore winter here in Florida and feel lucky that we can pretty much work outside...
