‘91 BPA Power Seat Motor Malfunction

Hello,
I leaned the passenger seat all the way back on my ‘91 BPA and now it won’t lean back in the upright and seated position. Anyone have any experience with this?

Is the motor still running? You may need to help it by lifting it back up while applying the button.

I’ve tried that. It does sound like the motor is working. But I need to figure out how to either fix the motor or remove the seat.

If the motor is working, it's a linkage problem. You can easily inspect the motor, it's the front most motor directly under the center of the seat. You can touch it while sitting even. Best case scenario would be the linkage loose there.

Thanks for giving me a starting point to even begin. It’s been hard to find schematics of this seat/system.
