I have a 2005 Lesabre with a bunch off electrical issues.
I'm not sure if they are all related or not.
Here is the timeline of issues.
Last spring the inside trunklight quit working.
no power - checked fuses all good.
decided I could live without it.
A few weeks latched the trunk release button quit working in the car and via remote.
Then check charging message came upon the info display.
Mechanic checked battery and alt. Replaced the alternator and error was gone for a week...then message was back. Trunk release still had no power.
Now the all lights are pulsing to the engine all the time. Voltmeter in car bounces all over the place (11.2-15.6) Relays are randomly click on and off (when the car is on).
All Dashboard lights go out at times. When this happens there is a drop in engine power.
Same mechanic wanted to replace all plug and wires as fix. Did that (waste of money). No change to car and now looking for a new Mechanic.
Battery seems to still be good.
In the meantime...does anyone know what I should look at as a cause?
Someone mentioned it could be the PCM or ECM?
