Now that the car has passed 103,000k, I realized I never posted an update since 80k. Car overall runs fine. Appearance-wise, the clearcoat crazing continues to spread. Besides the hood, roof and top of trunk, the tops of all four doors between the glass and the body character line have crazed now so I'll have to have the whole car re-shot at some point. This all started during 2020 when I worked from home; I didn't notice it until the end of that year. The rest of the body, trim, glass are fine.
I switched to Mobil 1 oil before 100,000 miles; it's great only to have to do one oil change a year. Mileage is 25-27mpg with the A/C on and the upper 20s with it off until it gets really cold here, which rarely occurs. Only on long trips does the car meet or exceed 30 mpg. Car has fresh coolant, new transmission fluid and relatively new tires. The brakes and brake fluid have all been replaced, too. A new battery and a new serpentine belt and tensioner have also been installed.
I replaced the OEM Continental tires with General Altimax RT43s ano now with General Alitimax RT45s. The Generals are so much better than the OEM rubber was for this car.
I replaced all of the interior floor mats even though just mine was raggedy after almost a decade. Most of the interior looks good save for my seat. I need to get it refluffed or just replace it. The rest of the intside just needs a thorough cleaning. Only other remaining issue is that the passenger knee airbag remains out of place and the car. The dash is missing a hex bolt and someone to re-hang the bag then convince the car that it's fixed so it stops dinging at me.
Car still rides and handles decently and the oomph from the engine still makes me smile. Too many drivers 'round here still think Buick = molasses and it's fun to surprise them when necessary.
